This HANDS-ON workshop introduces important daily foot health practices, and highlights the role of support personnel as part of an interdisciplinary team, promoting infection prevention, complication reduction, and improved overall health.
This workshop reviews best practices for skin structure and function, normal wound healing, etiology vs cause, classification, assessment, cleansing, prevention, and dressing application for lower leg wounds and ulcers (acute, chronic, diabetic, etc)
This workshop introduces the foot care nurse to the world of private practice; exploring nursing & business best practices, licences, insurance, documentation, liability and confidentiality, costs, ethics, and demographics - by geographic location.
